We are able to do just about anything, but we primarily work with homeowners doing new and replacement concrete driveways, sidewalks and patios. We are fully equipped and very handy for stamped concrete as well.
Whether you choose to work with us or not, get a pro. Someone with experience. Someone with insurance. Someone that you feel will do a good job. You can usually tell when someone is just there for a dollar.
The answer to this question really depends on what we’re doing. Here’s how we would break it down.
Driveway – 7-10 Days before driving on it.
Patio- Walk on it after 48 hours. (The strength will be there likely in the 1st day, but you’ve spent good money and don’t want to mess up the finish.
Sidewalk – Same as patio
Garage/Shop/Building Slab – Same as previous.
There’s several factors that go into pricing a new concrete driveway or patio.
Size – How big is it? This will obviously matter.
Thickness – Will the typical 4″ thickness be great for your project or will you need more? This will be based on what you want to do with the concrete pad.
The Land- What does the dirt look like where the new concrete will be poured? Is there a ton of grading involved, do we need to excavate land in order to get the job done? Obviously, the less of that, the less the project could be.
Access – Basically, this just means, Can we get our equipment to the location easily? Most backside patio projects we just need a 36″ gate for the buggy that delivers the concrete.
Concrete is such a material where you just need to keep it clean and it’s maintained. Some people choose to seal all the concrete, but we’ve all seen it last for years without it.
